RFID Tag Reading
In radio frequency identification, the RFID tag detects an electromagnetic pulse through its antenna, which transmits it to the microchip to process the signal. Subsequently, said impulse is returned to the transmitter with those variables programmed in the small memory of the chip. Some advantages of this identification system:

Limitations of reading by barcodes
Mainly the biggest disadvantage is possibly the individual and short distance reading of each label. Being an optical recognition technology, it is very likely to find physical difficulties related to speed, distance or reading quality.
Advantages of RFID data collection
The simultaneity and speed of the readings, up to 1,000 per second, are possibly the main advantages, since this results in an immense saving of time, costs and effort. Through a PDA device it is possible to perform inventory control in a minimum time and individually locate each item thanks to the unique identifier that carries each tag.

Passive RFID readings (tags without battery) can be made from up to 8 meters away, according to the devices used and operate 24/7 at a very low cost. The immediate consequence of such an installation will be to have inventory control in real time. Because readers and antennas never stop working, tags receive and return signal while they are within range.
To combine the stock with the expeditions, the enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems can manage the flows of a warehouse according to the parameters that the system itself recognizes, based on the physical events of reading and non-reading, as in the identification of inputs or outputs.
Inventories, entrances and exits
Considering that each RFID tag can be individually identified along the different points of the chain, it will not only be possible to manage inputs and outputs in real time, but also to enable new applications such as the physical location of a particular article, derived alerts of shipping errors or permits, order control, theft prevention and reduction of hidden inventory.

Having good quality of information is much easier to train the computer tools on those data crossings that you will be interested in in order to optimize the management of a company's merchandise.
For example, a system may deduce that an output has been produced by triangulating the signal strength obtained by 2 different antennas strategically located in a warehouse plant.

To meet the objective of never valuable information and store in the cloud all relevant data of a shipment, we can keep in the RFID tag memory small information, such as the date and time when the delivery of a package occurs in locations without Internet connection. To be able to recover said data later, it will be possible to program its marking in the chip memory and its subsequent recovery, when the next reading or connection is made.

BAP tag
The battery-assist passive tags are, as the name implies, RFID tags equipped with a battery. This complementary energy source allows the chip's micro-circuitry to be activated to enable a variety of functionalities:

• store information received by sensors
BAP Temperatura Tag
By combining a BAP tag with a simple temperature sensor, the chip will collect data every certain period of time, according to the programming that has been configured in it.
In the case of the identification of refrigerated merchandise, it will be very useful when registering and controlling its exposure to inadequate temperatures along the cold chain. This option is common in food shipments: frozen fish, wine shipments or very high quality meats.

Supervision and security
